How to set up your Indonesia eSIM

We recommend installing and activating your Indonesia eSIM before you fly out from Australia. Doing this will enable you to access the internet as soon as you arrive.

Here’s how to set it up.

  1. Check that your handset is unlocked and confirm your phone is compatible with an eSIM.
  2. Buy the Indonesia eSIM plan that best suits your trip.
  3. Before Departure: Install the eSIM with a strong home Wi-Fi using the Link/QR code
  4. After Arrival: Select the Cedar eSIM and enable data roaming on it

eSIM vs Roaming fees in Bali

You can typically use your existing SIM and phone number whilst in Indonesia. However, their daily roaming fees can quickly accumulate during the length of your stay.
