Most smartphones made after 2019/20 are usually eSIM-ready - but every phone’s a little different, so it’s always a good idea to double-check before diving in and buying an eSIM and then oops!!
Here are 3 easy ways to see if your phone’s eSIM compatible.
1. The Super Quick Code:
Just dial *#06# on your phone. Like, literally just type it in - no need to press call. If you see something called an EID (that’s your phone’s eSIM ID) pop up, congrats! Your phone is totally eSIM compatible.
2. Peek into your settings
For iPhone lovers:
Go to Settings > Cellular (or Mobile) Data or Mobile Service
If you see an "Add eSIM" option- you’re good!
For Android fans:
Head to Settings > Connections > SIM Manager
If you spot "Add eSIM", your phone is SIM-friendly too!
