Cedar Rewards Terms & Conditions

1.         Introduction

1.1. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the Cedar Rewards programme (“Cedar Rewards” or the “Programme”) which is available through the Cedar Mobile Website and App. By joining or participating in Cedar Rewards, you agree to these Terms, which form part of your agreement with Cedar Mobile Pte. Ltd. (“Cedar Mobile”, “we”, “us”, “our”).


2.         Eligibility

2.1. Cedar Rewards is open to individual Cedar Mobile customers using our services for personal, non-commercial use.

2.2. You must be at least eighteen (18) years old, or have the legal authority to enter into binding agreements, to participate.

2.3. Cedar Rewards may not be available in all countries or regions, and availability may vary depending on local laws, technical constraints, or commercial considerations.


3.         Joining Cedar Rewards

3.1. Participation in Cedar Rewards is optional and free. 

3.2. When you create or hold a Cedar Mobile account and opt into Cedar Rewards, your account will automatically track your points balance, rewards activity, and programme status.

3.3. Access to Cedar Rewards may be integrated with your Cedar Mobile customer account experience across supported Website and App environments.


4.        Earning Cedar Rewards Points
 

4.1. You may earn Cedar Rewards points (“Points”) by completing qualifying actions, which may include (but are not limited to):

  • Purchasing eligible Cedar Mobile products or services
  • Referring friends who successfully complete qualifying actions
  • Participating in promotions, campaigns, or limited-time offers

4.2. The number of Points awarded, eligible actions, and applicable conditions may vary from time to time and will be communicated on our Website, App, in your account, or in promotional materials. 

4.3. Points are typically credited automatically after the qualifying action is completed, but may not be issued instantly and may take some time to appear in your account.


5.        Invite Friends

5.1. You may earn Rewards by inviting friends to Cedar Mobile using your unique referral link or code.

5.2. A referral qualifies when a new Cedar Mobile customer (who has never previously held an account) signs up using your link and completes a qualifying purchase.

5.3. You may invite multiple new customers. Rewards are issued only for each new customer’s first qualifying purchase.

5.4. Only one referral reward may be applied per transaction unless we state otherwise. 

5.5. Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, referrals to existing customers, or misuse of the programme are not permitted. We may withhold or reverse referral Rewards where abuse or fraud is suspected. 

5.6. Referral reward amounts and qualifying criteria may change from time to time.


6.        Using Your Points
 

6.1. Points may be redeemed for eligible rewards made available by Cedar Mobile from time to time, subject to availability and any stated conditions. 

6.2. Points:

  • Have no cash value
  • Are not legal tender
  • Cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred to another person
  • May only be used by the account holder who earned them 

6.3. Points do not constitute stored value, electronic money, or any form of monetary instrument, and do not represent a deposit or balance of funds.

6.4. Points may not be combined with certain discounts, promotions, or offers unless explicitly stated. 

6.5. Points may expire if not used within a specified period, which will be communicated at the time they are earned or shown in your account.

6.6. If you leave the Cedar Rewards programme or close your Cedar Mobile account, any unused points or rewards will expire at that time and cannot be recovered.

6.7. The conversion value of Points and redemption mechanics may be communicated through Website, App, FAQ materials, or promotional content and may change from time to time.


7.         Refunds, Cancellations, and Adjustments

7.1. If a purchase that earned Points is refunded, cancelled, or reversed, the related Points may be deducted from your account.

7.2. If a Rewards Member receives a refund for a purchase that earned Points, any unused Points awarded for that purchase will be removed from the Member’s account. 

7.3. If the Points earned from that purchase have already been used, Cedar Mobile may reduce the refund by the value of the Points used, or make a reasonable adjustment to reflect the benefit already received.

7.4. Cedar Mobile reserves the right to correct Points balances in cases of error, misuse, or technical issues. 


8.        Fair Use and Programme Integrity
 

8.1. Cedar Rewards is intended for genuine individual use. Activities such as:

  • Creating multiple accounts
  • Attempting to manipulate or game the Programme
  • Purchasing for resale
  • Engaging in fraudulent, abusive, or misleading behaviour

may result in the suspension or termination of your participation and the forfeiture of Points.

8.2. Our decisions relating to suspected misuse or Programme integrity are final.

8.3. We may withhold, reverse, or remove Points associated with artificial, misleading, duplicate, automated, or abusive engagement activity. 


9.         Programme Changes or Termination

9.1. We may modify, suspend, or terminate Cedar Rewards (in whole or in part) at any time, including changing:

  • How Points are earned
  • The value or availability of rewards
  • Expiry periods
  • Eligibility criteria

9.2. Cedar Rewards may be unavailable or disrupted due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including technical failures or third-party service interruptions.

9.3. Where reasonably practicable, we will provide notice of material changes, but this may not always be possible.


10.       Privacy and Data Use

10.1. Participation in Cedar Rewards requires the collection and processing of limited personal data, such as Points history and rewards activity.

10.2. All personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.


11.        Limitation of Liability

11.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cedar Mobile shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from participation in Cedar Rewards, including the use or inability to use Points or rewards, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws. 


12.       Governing Terms

12.1. These Terms form part of Cedar Mobile’s broader Terms of Service. In the event of inconsistency, these Cedar Rewards Terms apply to the Programme only.

12.2. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the governing law and jurisdiction set out in Cedar Mobile’s Terms of Service.
